Subject: losing it? right hand trouble.

Hello All

Lately I notice that my right hand (I'm right handed) seems to have lost a lot of its dexterity. It feels like some peace of elastic is making it difficult for my fingers to move freely. Also I find that there is a lot less accuracy. I actually miss strings all together which hasn't been a problem before.
Peaces I played freely before I have to considerately bring down the tempo to make something out of it.

It's not like I have strained it by practising too much.
One thing that comes to mind is that it has something to do with the use of the computer mouse. Especially the index finger feels slow and cramped right up to the tendon(is that the word?) that connects it to the upper hand.
I'm 40 years old and I hope it is not the beginning of some old age problem already, but I realize it might very well be.

Any experience with this anyone? Comforting thought appreciated :-)

Thanks and Best regards
Mark
